Canada is Getting the Chevrolet Orlando

There's some great news regarding the Chevrolet Orlando. The Chevy vehicle will be heading to Canada but unfortunately the crossover still won't see an American dealer. General Motor's decision to keep the European-style Orlando out of US dealerships might be due to the Chevrolet Equinox that is available at Berger Chevrolet - 2525 28th St SE Grand Rapids, MI 49512, which is very similar to Orlando.
Although the Orlando shares many similarities with the Equinox, Canadian audiences should still get in line to check out this great new vehicle. Available for a short time already in Europe, Orlando's small frame is misleading. You can fit a lot of French bread loaves and bags of pasta in the compartments of this crossover.
And it's not just the small size with great cargo space that attracts buyers across the globe to Orlando. The vehicle's 2.4-liter Ecotec four cylinder powers all models, along with its direct injection performance, producing 174 horsepower with a six-speed automatic or manual. Fuel economy ratings are impressive: 35.1 mpg highway, 23.3 mpg city in the manual - 34 mpg highway, 22.2 mpg city in the automatic.
"The new Orlando builds on the transformation of Chevrolet's fuel efficient and versatile product portfolio, offering a family-friendly vehicle in a key segment in the Canadian market," said managing director of General Motors Canada, Kevin Williams. "With its expected segment-leading fuel efficiency and standard 7-passenger seating, Orlando should be a popular choice with Canadian families."1
Canadian MSRP for the all new 2012 Chevrolet Orlando starts at $19,995.
