Grand Rapids Holiday Celebrations

Grand Rapids Holiday Celebrations

The holiday season is upon us, and Grand Rapids is ready to spread the holiday cheer. This winter, celebrate the holidays right here in Grand Rapids alongside your fellow community members, creating warm holiday memories that you and your family members are sure to remember.

·         Christmas and Holiday Traditions Around the World: From Nov. 20 to Jan. 6, head to the Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park to experience a true winter wonderland. The exhibition features about 400,000 lights, visits with Santa, and 42 international displays.

·         The Nutcracker Ballet – Dec. 14-16 and 21-23: This holiday season, take the whole family to see this holiday classic.

·         Christmas Lite Show: For more than 20 years, Fifth Third Ballpark has hosted Michigan’s largest drive-through light show. The show – which is almost two miles long and features a million lights – is sure to please everyone as they sit back comfortably in the car.

·         Winter Wonderland: On Dec. 5, head to the Downtown Market between 4 and 8 p.m. for delicious holiday treats and Grand Rapids’ Holiday Artisan Market.

·         Visits with Santa: Stop by the Downtown Market with the kids during the weekend of Dec. 14-16 to visit with Santa and get some memorable holiday photos.

Don’t let the cold of a Michigan winter keep you indoors this season—go enjoy these Grand Rapids holiday celebrations. Then, if your vehicle needs a little attention or you are looking for a new one, come visit us at Berger Chevrolet.
