Introducing our November 2026 Employee Spotlight: Jacob Johnson!

In 2023, Jacob joined the Berger Team as a Parts Warehouse Team Leader. At Berger Chevy, our parts warehouse houses over 136,000 GM parts, has 50 delivery vehicles, and makes deliveries all throughout Michigan and northern Indiana. As a Parts Warehouse Team Leader, Jacob’s job is to ensure our parts inventory is accounted for and ready to be picked for orders. As he’s spent time in his role, Jacob has gained a better understanding of the processes within our Parts Department, making him a great resource for his colleagues.

Making sure orders are filled and ready for delivery throughout the day is no small feat, and our Parts Department is known to be a fast-paced work environment. During his time in the warehouse, Jacob has learned that the key to succeeding is patience. By finding the calm amongst the storm, he has found that he is better able to make informed decisions and remind himself that the Berger Team always gets the job done. Before working at Berger, Jacob had other warehouse jobs, but what he appreciates most about working at Berger Chevy is the friendly atmosphere within the Parts Department. With over 100 employees on our parts team, he’s grateful to work with people who have such a positive and can-do attitude.

Speaking of his team, Jacob would like to give a shoutout to the awesome upstairs and downstairs stockers he works with in the warehouse! He appreciates their hard work and efficiency. Plus, you get to enjoy fun employee events like our summer employee luncheons! Jacob enjoys having a reason to get out of the warehouse and hang out with his coworkers. His favorite food truck is Two Bones BBQ!

Outside of the dealership, Jacob enjoys spending his time outdoors! Whether it’s hunting, fishing, camping, or backpacking, he loves taking advantage of the mild Michigan seasons. A fun fact not many people may know about him is that he’s teaching himself how to play the acoustic and electric guitar!
