Community Involvement

Operation United Team

Operation United is an annual event hosted by Heart of West Michigan United Way, as an opportunity for local businesses to give back to veterans in the West Michigan community. As Operation United Ambassadors, the Berger Team visited different homes where we greeted the sponsoring team of volunteers, thanked each veteran for their service, presented them with a gift, and chatted with them about their military experiences. This event mobilizes volunteers to recognize those who have sacrificed so much for our country by completing outdoor improvements to make veterans’ homes more enjoyable, safer, and more accessible. Check out our blog to learn more about Operation United.

Earth Day Park Clean Up

Earth Day is a day to celebrate our shared home and ignite action for a sustainable future! We know that it's important to be conscious of our effect on the planet that we call home. That’s why here at Berger, we are continuously making greener choices to express our gratitude and help make a better future for our planet. This year we had the opportunity to celebrate and give back to our environment by volunteering at Kent County Parks Department’s Earth Day Celebration at Millennium Park! We spent the day cleaning up community playgrounds and picking up debris throughout the park.
