Many people don’t realize that Berger is made up of over 300 employees with seven respective departments. The leadership team for each of these departments has proven themselves to reflect the family-owned, small-business culture that we pride ourselves in. Berger believes in promoting from within, as our employees have the first-hand knowledge and dedication to improve our processes and look forward to the future. Vehicle Sales Management Team
Each one of them embodies resilience and dedication to excellence along with vast industry knowledge and experience. In fact, our sales management team’s average tenure at Berger Chevrolet is 12 years! Each member of our management team has worked as a vehicle sales consultant and/or in the finance department prior to their current role. Talk about promoting from within!

Did you know Berger Service Department has 85 employees? The Service Team works like a well-kept Chevy, with teams across Quick Lube, Service, Warranty, Business Development Center, Prep, and Used Car Reconditioning.
Prior to landing in their current role, each member of our Service Management Team worked in different positions at Berger or in the automotive industry. We feel this is a unique and powerful story of our team’s resilience, dedication, and of the growth opportunity here at Berger Chevrolet. We’re so proud and thankful to have such a dedicated, experienced, knowledgeable, always-has-time-for-a-laugh, and hardworking Service Management Team!

A little-known fact is that our Parts Department is the largest department at the dealership!
Our Parts Management Team understands the industry and goes the extra mile to create efficient processes that improve our operations and logistics. Each member of the Parts Management Team worked in a different position within our Parts Department before landing in their current leadership role. We are grateful to have a dedicated, knowledgeable, forward-thinking team leading our Parts Department.
From parts ordering and inventorying, to receiving and stocking, to selling and picking, to delivering and distributing, our team of 115 parts employees provide GM parts to customers down the street and across the country!
Our Parts Team operates at a high level every day. They believe that every Person, Position, Process, and Part matters as they work together for a common goal of selling GM Genuine Parts & Accessories with best-in-class customer service.

Body Shop Management Team
When it comes to the automotive repair industry, Berger Collision Center is leading the way with a dedicated team of technicians, painters, detailers, porters, estimators, and managers.
Prior to their roles in management, Jeremiah and Alden both held positions as Body Shop Estimators at Berger Collision Center. Their experience in the industry combined with their tenure at Berger Chevrolet has created a strong asset for our dealership. We’re thankful to have an experienced, committed, knowledgeable, customer-focused Body Shop Management Team!
Through the team’s dedicated efforts in providing West Michigan with quality vehicle repair, General Motors has named Berger Collision Center a member of the GM Collision Repair Network, which means that GM recognizes Berger as a trusted repair facility with GM-approved technicians.

At Berger Chevy, Department 7 refers to our IT, HR, Office, & Marketing Teams. Department 7 employs a mighty 20 team members handling a variety of work, including admin, accounting, marketing, technology, network, and so much more.
While many of these employees work behind the scenes, the dealership couldn’t operate at our high capacity without them. From service and collision repair orders to parts invoices and vehicle sales, Department 7 has its hands in the processes of everything we do.
These three department heads are Team Berger to their core. They are proud to represent our brand, offer a creative, forward-thinking focus to our operations, and support their colleagues and teams. We’re thankful to have them at Berger Chevy!
