LISA HAMILL EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT

Introducing our October 2025 Employee Spotlight, Lisa Hamill!

Lisa first joined the Berger team in 2019 after attending a hiring event at the dealership. She was first hired into the Sales BDC, then transitioned to the sales showroom floor as a New Car Sales Consultant. This position pushed Lisa out of her comfort zone and, unknowingly at the time, set her up for success in her next role at Berger. After working as a sales consultant for four years, Lisa left Berger before returning in 2025 as our New Inventory Manager! 

Due to her previous experience as a Sales Consultant, Lisa has been able to enter her new role with a strong foundation and an intimate knowledge of the back-end of Berger’s processes. Her prior knowledge of incentives, the dealer trade process, and the necessary paperwork for finance and insurance has enabled her to approach her new position in a well-rounded manner.

As the New Inventory Manager, a typical day for Lisa consists of printing GM invoices, punching in the previous day’s deals, assigning invoiced vehicles stock numbers, handling dealer trades, managing rentals, and whatever else pops up throughout the day! Her favorite part of her job is getting to “shop” for Chevy vehicles for Berger’s inventory. 

What Lisa enjoys most about working at Berger is the comfortable and laid-back atmosphere. While everyone is here to do their job and do it well, Lisa appreciates the space to grow, make mistakes, and learn from them. She describes all of her coworkers as approachable, and with the fast-paced environment of the sales floor, it’s important to have a team that knows how to work hard and play hard.

Speaking of the Berger team, Lisa wants anyone interested in joining the team to know that it truly is a family atmosphere. People are always willing to lend a helping hand, get the job done, and have a little fun while doing it.

When asked if there was anyone in her department that she would like to give a shoutout to, Lisa responded with her entire sales team. She has a great appreciation for our New Sales Managers. As their office neighbor, she witnesses just how much they do every single day for their team. She also greatly appreciates our team of sales consultants and commends their ability to work as hard as they do. It’s a position that can be demanding, and she praises our sales team for going the extra mile for our customers.

Another department Lisa would like to shout out to is our Prep Department! Lisa enjoys working with our Prep Manager, Kole Guilford, and Used Car Prep Manager, John Stull. They are always willing to lend a helping hand, and when given a task, they’re quick to get it done. Plus, they are known for a good laugh or two!

This year, Berger is celebrating 100 years in business. When asked what this milestone means to her and the community, Lisa described it simply as “we’re clearly doing something right.” From the way we treat our customers to the way we lead our employees, to be able to withstand the test of time for 100 years clearly shows we know what we’re doing. It’s a testament not only to our team, but to who we are as a business and as a part of the community.

When not at work, Lisa enjoys spending time with her husband and two dogs. They like walking along trails and enjoying nature together. A fun fact not many people may know about her is that she’s been bungee jumping!
