LOGAN CARLSON EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT

Our first Employee Spotlight of 2024 is a hard-working Parts Receiving Team Lead who enjoys working with all of the friendly faces here at Berger. Congrats and Thank You to Logan Carlson! 

Logan began his automotive journey just after he graduated in 2020. He started working here at Berger during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic in July 2020 and has been a valuable asset to our team ever since. Logan knew quite a few people who worked at Berger and was referred here by them (we love employee referrals!). Logan started in our warehouse as a Parts Picker/Stocker until he was asked by our Management Team to test his skills in receiving. After doing such an amazing job in his role, he was promoted to Receiving Team Lead, which is his current position.

Logan is responsible for ensuring that all of our parts are delivered to our warehouse correctly by inspecting deliveries, checking paperwork, and moving pallets and parts to their rightful place with machinery such as a forklift. A typical day for Logan is unloading several truckloads of auto parts, scanning all of the loads, and moving them to their proper locations in the warehouse.

When asked for some of the reasons that Logan enjoys working at Berger he said, “All the people and friendly faces”. He also went on to say that he enjoys our employee luncheons where all of our departments get to hang out, relax, and enjoy a meal together, as well as our annual All GM Show, and Parts Department golf outings.

Logan’s advice to anyone interested in working in the Berger Parts Department is, “Do the work [and if you do it], good things will come”.

Logan wanted to shout out to his Receiving Team for always getting the job done without hesitation or question! He also wanted to give a shout-out to Rob Powell, one of our Service Technicians, for always being willing to help him when he needs something for his car or help to fix it!

When he’s not at work Logan enjoys driving, working on his three cars, and unwinding by watching TV or playing some games.
