Congratulations to our July 2026 Employee Spotlight, Nik Raymond!

Nik is one of our Quick Service Advisors. When he started at Berger in 2023, Nik joined the team as a Quick Lube Technician after several friends suggested he come work at the dealership. Not long after he started, a position opened for a Quick Service Advisor. Nik approached his management team and told them he was interested in filling the role. With their guidance, he quickly adapted to the new position and has worked as one of our Quick Lube Advisors ever since!

For Nik, no two days at the dealership look the same, as new customers visit our Quick Service Lanes with unique automotive needs. Whether they need a routine oil change, tire rotation, or filter change, each customer has a different story. Nik likes to emphasize to our customers that Berger is West Michigan’s one-stop shop. Our job is to keep your vehicle running, and our Quick Lube Lanes are here for whatever your vehicle may need. 

Amidst the variety of his day-to-day, a constant is the friendly good mornings he shares with his coworkers. In fact, it’s the community that Nik enjoys most about his job. Whether it’s the camaraderie amongst his team members or getting to know our clientele, he appreciates the strong sense of community at Berger Chevrolet. Though we are over 300 employees strong, Berger still maintains that small, family-owned atmosphere. Nik attributes that to our owners and management team, but it’s employees like Nik who help to maintain that familial feeling.

As a great example of what it means to be a part of the Berger Team, Nik is often recruited by our Marketing Department for content. Whether it’s posing for a photo with tires or filming a silly video, Nik is always a good sport. His favorite reel that he has participated in was a remake of an iconic Jurassic Park scene showcasing our “dino-mite” tire savings. You can watch the reel here! It’s a testament to Nik’s willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done and his ability to have fun along the way. One piece of advice that Nik would like to give anyone interested in joining the Berger Team is to say yes when Marketing asks you to be in content. Even if it’s out of your comfort zone, you’re guaranteed to have some fun, and it’s a great opportunity to be part of the dealership’s branding. 

If you couldn’t tell by now, Nik is a team player. Some people on his own team that he’d like to recognize are Jake, our Quick Lube Manager, and Shane, a fellow Quick Lube Advisor. Nik commends Jake for stepping into the manager role last year. Shane is a newer addition to the Quick Service Team, and Nik would like to highlight how quickly he’s adapted and excelled as a Quick Lube Advisor.

Someone outside of the Service Department that Nik would like to shout out is one of our Lot Spotters, Jok. Every day, Jok makes his rounds and gives everyone in the dealership a fist bump. It’s a great morale boost, and Nik always looks forward to the daily visit from Jok. 

When not at work, Nik likes to spend time with his fiancée, family, and friends. Whether he is camping with his fiancée or he’s grilling with his family, Nik enjoys spending time outside. He’s also a huge sports fan. From playing golf to watching hockey or participating in his fantasy football league, Nik loves all things sports.
